Yep, our night routine is nurse, bath, nurse, swaddle and bed. Most of the time LO is not quite asleep and so far it must be working because she usually stays in bed for 8-10 hours.

I heart our night nursing :-)

Always! Not always to sleep, but nursing around naptime and bedtime is the nursing that I'm actively supporting right now. All others I'm working on phasing out.

For the most part yes. I usually nurse her within an hour of bedtime depending on what were doing. I don't have to nurse her to sleep, and I don't have to nurse her right before she gets put down.

We nurse at bed time but most nights I don't actually nurse to sleep. Hubs actually often does a top off bottle right after we nurse. I've known from the time she was born that when she is seven months old she will be spending the night with my bro and sis in law while hubs and I are at a wedding (that my husband is in) so I've been trying to be conscious about her being able to go to sleep without the boob.

I always have, except for the few times DH has had to put him to bed. That used to be a bottle-feeding attempt, which would just make baby mad. Now he just does the whole bedtime routine but instead of nurse-to-sleep, baby watches tv to get to sleep. I am relieved that it works.

Always! Originally it was nursing to sleep until we sleep trained at 6 months. But he still is nursed right before getting put into his crib (awake).

Yup, I did almost every day for 21 months (he did fine if I wasn't around though). He just last week decided we were done nursing so now we rock and sing like we always did, just without the boob :)

She either nurses or takes a bottle to go to sleep, depending on who does the nighttime routine. We'll keep doing it as long as it works! And because I love it :)

I used to at the beginning but we started giving him a bottle of pumped milk at 10/11 weeks so anyone would be able to put him to bed. Now, at 10 months I only nurse him if we are away from home and I can't or don't want to pump. He NEVER falls asleep at the boob anymore! :(

Recently my 6 month old has decided she NEEDS mama milk before bed. It doesn't put her to sleep, it just makes her happy. So, I'm just letting it become a pattern. She never used to nurse before bed so, this is new.

Do you nurse your baby before bed? Have you don't this since they were born?
