He is going to be working at her house all day, and she was asking if she should offer to buy him lunch. I've had contractors work for me in the past, and I have offered them a beverage, but it never crossed my mind to buy them lunch. In my experience, they usually pack a lunch or take a lunch break. But the other friends said in her situation, they would offer to buy lunch, usually a pizza or a sub from a sandwich shop. If you have a contractor working at your house all day, do you offer to buy them lunch? </p>
