I guess maybe if she chugged two bottles... LOL! I would offer drinks as well and when I'm sick I want drinks too. Who wants vomit taste just sitting in their mouth?!?! I think MIL just wants to hear her own voice/advice... haha

Yes! I worry about dehydration even when she's not sick (unreasonable, but no one ever claimed that FTMs are totally reasonable). I would definitely offer water.

I offer water or Pedialyte frequently but I don't put too much in the cup at one time.

I hope she feels better!

If it were me, my instinct would be to offer LO SOMETHING to drink! Water, juice...I would worry about dehydration!

My daughter was sick this weekend. She had a fever that got up to 103 and threw up multiple times. About an hour after the last time she threw up, I offered her some of her water from her straw cup. She drank it and seemed very happy to have water to sip on.

My MIL is in town and told me I shouldn't give her water if she's throwing up because it will make her throw up more.

M didn't throw up again.

Do you offer your lo water after they have been sick? I know I like to have water to help hydrate after I've been sick...
