DH and I are trying to come up with a new stanza for that page but we are a little low on creativity right now. There's also a page that says Every year in Africa the animals get together for a jungle dance. And we always say that's not really true when we get to that part. I dont know why it bothers me but I just feel it's disingenuous to tell our kids this! Similarly, my husband made a "no Curious George books" rule after we read one where he ran away from home and had all sorts of adventures and didn't get in trouble. In Alice the Fairy there is a line about how broccoli is often poisoned and should never be eaten, that book was in heavy rotation right when the lo's decided they kind of liked broccoli so I changed that to brussel sprouts.
