I have food allergies that keep me constantly stuffed up and he has a lot of problems with his sinuses and digestional tract (everything's connected in one way or another...). I didn't have ANY sinus problems/allergies until we moved to Georgia. Now, they're horrible beyond horrible. I've tried shots, otc meds, prescription meds, neti pot, saline rinse, etc... I deal with it by constantly blowing my nose, having to breathe out of one nostril only, and continuing all the above. It really stinks. </p> <p>My friend's brother's wife's newborn (whew that was a mouthful), came to GA from VA for a family emergency this week and the baby actually stopped breathing from all the ridic high levels of pollen we have here and having not being exposed to it. He had his adnoids out as a little kid, and then in high school he had to have his sinuses scraped to clear all the gunk out. It really worked for him but the recovery was horrible. I didn't realize how bad it was until I started fasting recently, and my sinuses cleared out! (Apparently, that's a common side effect of fasting.) I'm glad because I was considering surgery to address my sinus problems... so this has been a true blessing.</p> <p>It's shocking to breathe, and feel the air flowing... I can't get over it! Sinus problems are a big quality-of-life issue... I didn't realize just how much until my breathing was restored.</p> <p>Do you or your SO suffer from sinus problems? How have you guys managed it? </p>
