Somw book a friwnd borrowed on my card in HS. Lame.So, I got a new card when I got married and fibbed to say I never had a card in their system before...oops! Such a rebel. Also, I have every single book on Georgia O'Keefe I could get my hands on from the library in the city where I used to live from a project and paper I did in college. Our library now sends email reminders two days before the book is due back, and they have a drive-up drop-off. SO stupid! I apparently have fines for 2 books from way back when I was in H.S. or college that I NEVER borrowed! It wasn't the first time they had mixed up my account with someone else's - in H.S. I actually physically found the book that they said I borrowed and never returned - but since I didn't know about this for years, there's nothing I can do. Fast forward more than a decade later and I think I should borrow a book at my current local library and they keep ALL the library cards linked in my county! So I can't borrow anything unless I pay like $90 for these 2 books I've never borrowed. F* that!
