I think sterilizing them is a gimmick. Used it a lot with DS1 as we were paranoid but I’ve only used it once or twice with DS2. Little bit of water, lock lid and like 3 mins in the microwave. But I didn't sterilize very often. I'm wondering whether I should invest in an electric sterilizer or the plastic reusable microwave sterilizer. I had thought about the microwave bags but I'd rather use something more reusable. </p>
