After we bought a cordless iron, I started ironing a lot more. It is just easier when you don't have to wrangle the cord. Highly recommend. We both iron a couple of times a week. I set up the ironing board in front of the TV and watch an episode of something while ironing. That makes it more pleasant. I literally don't remember the last time I ironed. DH wears "wrinkle free" dress shirts, and I hang them up straight out of the dryer and they're fine. I use my iron so much it barely gets put away. I've gone through a lot of bottles of Downy Wrinkle Releaser spray though. I use that just about every day. My husband wears no iron shirts, but I still iron them. I would rather do that than send them to the drycleaners. I send a lot to the cleaners as it is, so I feel like I should do my part for our health and our environment to launder 5 shirts a week. We didn't use it very often because we both dressed pretty casually for work. I recently got a fancy new Rowenta one and it irons my babies' clothes beautifully, haha. I iron almost every single day. Most clothes get ironed before getting hung on weekends, and I even iron sheets and pillowcases. I iron my toddlers pants and collared shirts, as well as my husband's. I cannot stand wrinkles. He definitely knows how to iron, but I'm pretty fast at it, and hate to see him take an hour to iron 3 shirts when I can do 8 in the same time. Plus, he does things that I absolutely hate doing, like dusting and vacuuming. I'll take it!
