We rarely mess with that time as we attribute that to really strengthening their relationship post-baby. Plus DH works long hours and really looks forward to it/loves planning it! Dd2 stays with me during that time and I'm able to get errands/stuff around the house done. Sunday mornings are always church as a family. The parents do their thing, and the kids are expected to tag along and entertain themselves.</p> <p>That's actually kind of how I was raised! But somehow I switched tracks and now everything we do with our free time revolves around the kids. I'd like to change to be more parent-centric at times, but it's hard... mostly because my kids aren't so great at entertaining themselves! Gotta work on that one... </p>
