My mom took us to JC Penny's when we were young and we have pictures of just the kids. But then when school started she just used our school pictures. </p> <p>We won't get professional pics done. It's just too expensive for us. My family never did growing up, but I just love photo sessions so much, I'd love to do them yearly until the kids decide they're too cool for them. Then I'll still force them to do them haha. Photography has come such a long way, and I have the privilege of knowing so many wonderfully talented photographers.</p> <p>Did you take family portraits every year growing up?
