Sometimes people share if their birthdays are really close together. Since LO has a mid summer birthday I imagine we'll always do something for her. We're TTC for baby #2 and if I have a newborn I honestly don't think I'll be able to throw her a big party...I just know myself and I will probably have crazy PP hormones and all kinds of anxiety with having a newborn around lots of little kids in the winter. If I end up with a EDD after her birthday then I'm happy to throw her a big party. He had a big one at 4 and then another when he turned 6. We just did a family thing at 5 and he probably won't get a big party this summer for 7 because we're moving an hour away. But he does get to choose dinner every year...whether its something I cook or a restaurant to go to. In my house, you were boss for the entire day of & weekend after your birthday. We got to do whatever we wanted.
