I've had bad experiences with female bosses in general. On the other hand, I've been with my male boss whose about 10 years younger than my parents for 7 years next week. We get along really well and he trusts my abilities, etc. When I was pregnant, he became very fatherly worrying about my due date, etc. I think he was way more worried about my water breaking and going into labor at work than I was. During my labor, I was worried about calling him to let him know it was happening.
