I have lived in the city for a month and it was really noisy. Plus, I didn't have my car and there was hardly any space for the dog. I like living within a reasonable distance to the city though. I have lived in the city before and I hated it. I can appreciate the city, but I love having a chunk of land and the peace and quiet. I loooooooooooooove it! It's so peaceful and quiet! We're only 5-10 minutes from town where we can go to a mom &amp; pop's store if we need anything (from bread to a washer lol!).<br /> I lived in Chicago for 4 months back in the day and I couldn't wait to move back "home". I hated it!!<br /> I totally love where I live! Even if my commute to work is 70 minutes... but I love my job as well! If anything, they keep an eye out for us and notify us if we leave our headlights on or something is leaking (e.g. water, gas). </p> <p>I grew up living in the burbs and currently live in the suburbs. The suburbs where I grew up was eh, but I currently LOVE the suburbs where I live now! </p> <p>We also have a farm out in the country and enjoy our time there, but not sure I'm ready to fully commit living the country lifestyle. Getting to places is so far!! Plus, everyone knows about EVERYONE's business.
