I'm not a huge camper, but I love going for hikes in the day and then coming home to a shower and soft bed in the evening. If we're just going for a weekend though, we usually visit a smaller city a short ferry ride away. I come away from cities feeling sapped, but when I am outside I always feel energetic and satisfied.</p> <p>We spent some time today in the rain in one of our fields and the adjoining creek. I'll have to come back and share a short video. It was fantastic! We got to play in the water and find animal clues, and follow trails, and it was just us with no one else around.
