@travellingbee: I don't cut apples or bananas that's for sure! Celery, cucumbers, strawberries, melon. None of it goes bad/gets mushy because we eat it fast enough.

No. I don't have patience for things to dry before putting it in the fridge. My prep calls for rinsing. Also, I don't like food to turn brown or get soggy.

I have a hard time with this because many fruits go bad if you precut- apples, bananas, strawberries, blueberries? (Not sure if they get mushy)

The most I do is take off all the plastic wrap. I don't like to store the produce in bags or tight cling wrap.

I cut enough vegetables for 2 days.

No, I've found that washing fruit, at least, makes them go bad faster. So I store them dirty and wash as we go.

I have a few times in the past and it is really nice but I'm often too lazy to do it all the time.

I try to, but often times... it doesn't happen. I usually cut the entire container of something when I need it for the first time (so I will wash and chop a 6-pack of bell peppers the night I need 2 of them for fajitas or I'll cut all the fruit when I want some for breakfast the next day).

I used to - took the grapes off the stems and peeled them, washed and chopped veggies, and it made life so much easier.

Do you wash/cut/divide your produce all at once so it's ready for the week, or just as you need it?

I prepped everything the other day after grocery shopping, divided it out into portions for the girls and then larger containers for whatever else. Makes my life easier, that's for sure!
