No, she usually spits the pacifier out on her own once she's asleep. I leave it there because if she wakes up, she usually puts it back in and falls asleep again.

Nope. If she's is using a paci or thumb, it falls out on her own. Like @grizz: said, I'm not messing with a sleeping dragon! lol!

No, it falls out on its own though. Once she is asleep I leave several in the crib so when she tosses and turns in the middle of the night she can find them.

I used to with a lo I took care of as he got close to his first birthday. I would leave it right near his head though so he could reinsert it if needed. It made it really easy to wean him off of it but he was a great sleeper by that point.

My LO is a spitter too, it's how I know he's really going to sleep for a while! He can't get to his thumb because he's still swaddled.

I don't with my 22 month old, she'd raise hell if I pulled her binky out. However my 5 year old step-daughter gets her thumb pulled out while she's sleeping, I think she's too old to suck her thumb. That and it's caused medical issues with her, but I'm just the wicked step-mother that takes her comfort away (from Mom...)

E usually spits it out once he's soundly asleep but I don't think I'd pull it out because I'd be too scared lol.

I never did as a nanny! If she started to wake up and there was no pacifier, she *always* woke up completely instead of settling back down.
