He has to wear suncream if it's a sunny day though. He has never liked wearing hats. Now we are trying to get him to wear sunglasses when we are outside. It's great for providing extra sun protection all around he face, neck and shoulders when it's super hot or a long outing. We have a columbia hat she got as a gift. It has sun protection and mesh sides. Adjustable in size from infant to little kid! My daughter has been wearing it since she was 1 and she's 4 now. Most kids here do though and daycare definitely asks us to send hats. We have this style, but a different color. If so, which kind? </p> <p>I just found two sun hats in a basket and decided to throw them on the girls and surprisingly they kept them on. It helps with the bugs biting their head (we have bad biting bugs here right now!) and so their heads don't get burnt, plus shading their face. </p>
