Right now, it's all adult music. As she gets older, and able to recognize more, I'll add in some kids music. It's fun to have it on when she's playing because there is lots of inspiration for singing/dancing breaks. I started lo on regular (non-kid) music from the beginning so she likes most everything. We do listen to kid's music too. I can usually put on 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s playlists and not worry about content but I also have some playlists I've made that I know are ok. I made the mistake of giving E total control of all media in the house and the car. While she's awake, we only ever have kids TV or nursery rhyme videos on, and we have Peppa Pig songs or kids music on the car. If we try to change the channel, she kicks off. The constant, horrible noise of it grates on my nerves and contributes to my anxiety. </p> <p>Music, on the other hand (of my choice), has always been good for my mood. I've been working on it in the car initially and being able to listen to some relaxing music has been life changing. So cute!</p> <p>During my maternity leave I loved putting "Cool Family Radio" on on the apple TV. I was sad recently to discover that Apple took away the free radio stations.
