I remember one day getting out of the shower then went to brush my teeth while I was still naked. All of a sudden I felt something dripping on my foot and was so confused because I was sure I'd toweled off well, but sure enough one of my boobs was leaking. I wore nursing pads consistently for at least the first three months, then tapered off, and I only had to wear them at night. I had to wear Lily Padz for a long time (those things are awesome--they actually prevent the leak instead of just sopping it up). I still leak at 7 months, but not as much. I haven't not worn the pads since my milk came in - same exact thing happens to me in the shower and randomly throughout the day. It's been another tough aspect of bf for me bc I hate wearing bras at home when I'm just hanging out and I can't ever not wear them now! Also when I'm feeding from one side the other side leaks so much! I might leak a little during the day, but it was only a few drops here and there. I leaked more at night - I'd just wake up in a puddle, haha. I went out to the grocery store without breast pads for the first time recently and of course there was a baby crying the entire time I was in the store. I'll just randomly get that tingly let down feeling, and then start leaking milk. Last night in the shower it happened, and both boobs had a stream of milk coming from them! My baby is almost 3 weeks so hopefully the leaking stops by 3 months like it did with DS.
