I regift, sell, return, and donate presents without a lick of guilt.</p> <p>The segment of my family that we spend Christmas Eve with is great for this. The past several years, we have had a white elephant exchange among all of the adults, with the only parameter being that we are not allowed to purchase anything. It is a terrific opportunity for regifting perfectly nice things that are just not a good fit for our household (*cough* teacher gifts *cough*). They all brought gifts, which was lovely, but not expected.<br /> One woman gave me (him) a sweater that is size 2T. I would have just kept it for when he was older, but DH vetoed it since it looked like it was probably from the Girls section of Baby Gap. I happen to know that this woman has a 20 month old granddaughter, so I figured it was something that was bought/received for her. Sure enough, there was a gift receipt from Feb. of this year; the sweater was purchased before I even knew I was pregnant with DS!
