I just do things from Google images. For Harry potter I print out the house crests, for James and the giant peach I printed out pictures of the actual bugs for the story. Takes me like 5 minutes and they have so much fun.</p> <p>I think the food is their favorite part. I made pesto spiral pasta and called it crocodile tongues, and some peach salad for James and the giant peach. Or I hang up pictures from the book around the house to "decorate" for our movie night. It's pretty fun and the kids love it. My mom just laughs at me. He told me to stop reading in an angry voice. :) but we kept going. When we watched the movie they were a little scared. Nick said "mom that part with Voldermort is a little freaky." My kids are not super sensitive to scary things though. So now we read it over 3 nights, and then have him read us another book for a bit more instead. It's kinda exciting to look forward to how the story ends. Plus it's sad but sometimes I learn stuff from these chapter books.</p> <p>Do you read chapter books in a single night, or over several nights? </p>
