I used to keep everything on my phone, but no longer like the calendar function {thanks Apple}. I bought an Erin Condren planner a few months ago and I love that I can track everything, for everyone, with it.

I have a horrible memory, so my calendar on my phone is always up-to-date. Only way I feel comfortable scheduling Dr appointments around work meetings.

DH is horrible with using the calendar and somehow always remembers Dr appointments the day or morning before. There has been times where he has been double booked and we usually have to cancel or make a last minute change. It annoys me.
