I hate mornings, so I sleep until LO wakes up most days. Today I couldn't sleep anymore after DH left for work, but instead of being productive I've been playing on my phone.

My LO usually sleeps until 9, so I suppose I could get up earlier if I wasn't such a night owl!

Almost never! We usually use him as our alarm clock. These days I have been waking up at around 5am every single morning to pee though. I go back to sleep though. We installed a light blocking curtain over his blackout curtains this weekend though so he's been sleeping later and later! it's awesome!!

ETA: We do, however, get a bit done before we actually go in and get him... Wagon Sr., being a morning person, walks the dogs, preps Wagon Jr.'s breakfast, and showers before Wagon Jr. is out of the crib. I'm typically showered by the time he's up, and while Wagon Sr. feeds him breakfast I get ready for work.

Nope... I also have tO admit that I carry LO into my bed when he wakes around 530 and I nurse him while sidelying, we fall asleep together, and then he wakes me again around 8.

I'd have to wake up even earlier than I already do at this point. My son wakes up somewhere between 5 and 6:30, so if I were up an hour earlier, that would mean 4 on some days...no thanks. Whatever I have to do can wait!

If my son did sleep in, then yes, I'd get up at 6:30 with my husband so I can have coffee and watch the news in peace!

I'm on maternity leave for one more week, and I definitely do NOT set an alarm unless we have to be somewhere early in the morning. I just wait for DD to wake me. I value my sleep too much these days to purposefully wake myself earlier than I need to.

LO wakes me up. She gets up so early that there is no way I would even think about setting an alarm to wake up to do stuff. Sometimes I wake up naturally no more than 10 minutes before LO and those mornings are nice - I get to take my time getting up, brush my teeth and wash my face and then greet LO with smiles instead of sleepy grunts.

I am up but I can't do much because we have creaky hallways and stairs so DD will wake up if I walk around.. So I just surf the web.

Hardly ever.
LO's been waking at 6:30 for the last few days and I'm not a morning person either!

I read on a blog recently that if you're a SAHM, you should wake up in the morning before your LO so you can get stuff done instead of wake up tired and groggy.

There's no way I can do that because I'm not a morning person!

Do you wake up regularly before your LO?
