Today I couldn't sleep anymore after DH left for work, but instead of being productive I've been playing on my phone. We usually use him as our alarm clock. These days I have been waking up at around 5am every single morning to pee though. I go back to sleep though. We installed a light blocking curtain over his blackout curtains this weekend though so he's been sleeping later and later! it's awesome!! ETA: We do, however, get a bit done before we actually go in and get him... Wagon Sr., being a morning person, walks the dogs, preps Wagon Jr.'s breakfast, and showers before Wagon Jr. is out of the crib. I'm typically showered by the time he's up, and while Wagon Sr. feeds him breakfast I get ready for work. My son wakes up somewhere between 5 and 6:30, so if I were up an hour earlier, that would mean 4 on some days...no thanks. Whatever I have to do can wait! She gets up so early that there is no way I would even think about setting an alarm to wake up to do stuff. Sometimes I wake up naturally no more than 10 minutes before LO and those mornings are nice - I get to take my time getting up, brush my teeth and wash my face and then greet LO with smiles instead of sleepy grunts.
