However, I'm most nostalgic for the 80s fare, like Night Rider, Magnum, Murder She Wrote, Family Ties. Some of those continued into the 90s, but they really had an 80s mentality. I binge-watched Murder She Wrote through my whole pregnancy. There's lots of shows that came on in the 80s were still on in the 90s: there was a question on Jeopardy last week about the waitress's name on Cheers and I screamed DIANE and no one knew the answer. I loved The Cosby Show, Night Court, Cheers, Night Rider, the A-Team, Family Ties, The Facts of Life...whew, I guess I watched A LOT of TV. I probably watched more TV from the 80s than the 90s because in high school and college I didn't watch as much TV. I have an 80s/90s station that I play at work because I love both times equally. I don't' think of Laguna Beach or the Real World/Road Rules as nostalgic even though we loved those shows in in HS. Music I'd say is more late 90s/00s, that's when I was in a car and playing CDs since I was in HS. That's when music really became a thing for me. I'd say music when I was younger reminds me more of my parent's style since that's what we had to listen too! Do you relate better to things from the 80's, 90's or 2000's? We had close friends over this weekend and they were talking about watching the A-Team, Miami Vice and Hill Street Blues. I could not relate at all and I was born in 77. I feel like I relate better to things from the 90's when I was 13+. These friends were all 5+ years older than me.
