It was my freshman year in college. Netscape navigator was what I used. I was introduced to email at that time as well. I remember running to the computer labs to check email between classes. I remember dialing in through a modem for the first time, I was so amazed! I was utterly blown away. It was such a quantum leap over things like Gopher and Telnet.
