We have several kinds of bibs, but LO usually pulls them off, so the silicone one with the trough ended up being as messy as any other, particularly after she drank (& dribbled lots of) water! Generally she wears a terrycloth bib & can re-wear at a later meal about half of the time.

@MrsBrewer: Yeah, the plasticy (bumkins) ones don't usually stay on that long because they both pull on them.

Once she started solids, we switched to silicon bibs which are extremely easy to clean. We tried a few different types but these were our favorites:

We only own one Bjorn bib that I rinse/wash between meals and two fabric ones I rotate washing and keeping in my bag for when we're out.

My LO only uses the small cheap cloth bibs. She always hated the plastic-y ones and would always pull at them. We generally use a new one at each meal. But if it stays pretty clean I will just lay it on the high chair and re-use it for the next meal! Why create more laundry if you dont need to?!

If I use a bib (usually they eat naked) I use a new one for each meal.

If you are feeding your LO solids (messy ones) or purees, do you reuse the bibs between feedings? Do you wipe it down and reuse? Do you just grab another clean one for the next feeding.

Or does it depend on how clean the bib is and the type of bib it is made out of. Cloth or wipable material.
