@hilsy85: That is kind of what I am thinking--no fever, he's in relatively good spirits but I think he is suffering from cabin fever!

Not if he has a fever but if he's feeling under the weather with a cold/cough I do bring him out. He enjoys the change of scenery and I think the fresh air is nice.

Depends on how sick. If it's a cold, or he has a fever but it has been brought down with meds and he is in a good mood, then yes, because I think fresh air is good. But if he's really not feeling good and in a bad mood, then no. I don't really see how bringing him out in a stroller or carrier would do much to expose other people to his germs...they're not anywhere near close enough to be coughed on or sneezed on.

I don't take my son out when he is sick because I hate being exposed to other peoples germs that go out while sick....

I am home from work with J who is sick--cough, sniffles, etc. He is hard to keep entertained, but he loves errands and enjoys getting out and about. When your LO is sick do you stay home or do you get out? He'd be in his stroller the whole time, not in contact with other people, but I feel like it would be kind of irresponsible in case his germies got out and made someone else sick! Am I over thinking it?
