I rotate the kids toys out every few months (3-5), so when I bring the new toys in from storage, I sanitize them before I put them away in the toy box. Non-electronic toys I soak for 15 minutes in bleach water; electronic toys just get wiped down with a Clorox wipe and then a wet washcloth. Stuffed animals/puppets/soft toys get washed in the machine on the gentle cycle and then air dried. I also wash their bath toys about once a month.
