@Leialou: DH is seeing his GP today and I asked him to ask what his Dr what is blood type is. Last night, when I asked I thought it was because of the RH factor but then, this morning, I realized that it's not an issue because I'm Rh positive. I texted DH to tell him to still ask his dr because I'm curious but not because of our pregnancy.

LOL, my DH said "we're pregnant" a few times and after (in private), I said, "WE'RE expecting, but I'M pregnant"... you know, since I'm the one who is nauseous and exhausted and suffering and actually carrying the baby  I did it in a nice way though. I think whatever you are comfortable with is OK.

I'm not sure. I don't think I've said "pregnancy" to anyone yet.

I said it when we conceived on the first try. It truly was ours and I felt great about it. It would have been even more true after all we went through last year!

@jedeve: Oh, cool! I think once we get closer to the end of the first trimester I'll start saying 'we're pregnant'. I think DH would say it, too.

I didn't have IF but I always said "we're pregnant." My DH has been there with me through a lot of other health problems and so it seemed appropriate!

I know some people hate it when people use it but I really do think this is 'our pregnancy'. It was a great triumph to get pregnant after 3 years with IF and I really do think he should get some of the credit, too.

Yes, it is weird considering I'm pregnant (and not him) but it was such a relief for both of us that we could get pregnant.

Just wondering if this is something (weird) that I do or if it's something maybe people who have gone IF do, too.

Although, maybe later in the pregnancy... I might switch to 'my pregnancy'... if the symptoms get unbearable. ;)

ETA: So far, I've only used the term when I texted him... I referred to 'our pregnancy'.
