My boss is usually pretty understanding about doc appointments, ect. When I used to work 1pm - 10pm on weekdays, I would always schedule during non-work hours. My doctor only works 9-3:30 certain days of the week so I have to schedule them during my work hours (I work 7:30-4). I don't usually take a lunch break and I'm always here early so I don't see it as being a big deal.
