It's cheap and it saves us a lot of money. I can buy laundry detergent for several dollars cheaper than I can at our local grocery stores. The "experience" does vary a lot from store to store. </p> <p>Right now, we live in a town that has one Walmart. The employees have always been great but the shoppers are terrible. It's always packed and it sends my blood pressure through the roof. (Why can't you say excuse me?) We don't shop there very often. If we're running low on some non-grocery items, that's where we go. But for the most part, we shop at HyVee. If we lived in our hometown, i think we would mostly shop at Walmart.</p> <p>@photojane: It's totally the norm in my hometown too. There are 4 Walmarts there and I know 3 of them are Super Walmarts.</p> <p>@mediagirl: exactly! But now when I've gone in their with friends or family I find that their prices aren't that good. I get higher quality products by shopping elsewhere.
