I sing to Lettie all day, but nothing specifically at bedtime yet. But she's really little and doesn't have a real bedtime routine yet, so maybe when she does that'll change and I'll sing her a song or two as part of her routine!

I sing the songs my mom sang to me - Jesus Loves Me & Heavenly Sunlight. I sing at bedtime & naps though sometimes I just hum the tune.

We sing at naps and bedtime :) I always always sing my own special sleepy version of "Killing me Softly" and have since he was two weeks old (it's the only song I could think of in those sleep deprived days!) and now whenever I sing "I heard he sang a good song..." he immediately stops wriggling and takes a big deep breath. It just melts me :)

DH generally puts her to bed but for naps and when I do nights I sing a song my mum sang to me, not sure of it's name, twinkle twinkle and the first verse of silent night. DH made up an applesauce song so he sings that, ABC and twinkle twinkle. If she asks for jingle bells he will sing that. He accepts requests!

After I turn off the lights I rock E and sing hush little baby, twinkle twinkle little star, itsy bitsy spider, and you are my sunshine. He settled down in that time and is usually just starting to drift off when I finish and lay him down.

I sing to LO each night and most naps. I sing an assortment of Hush Little Baby (I made up my own lyrics in the early days when I couldn't remember the real ones), Brahms' Lullaby, Amazing Grace, Dixie Chicks' Lullaby, and I've always ended with Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Charlie used to ask us to sing to him when he was around 2, but our routine has been just books for a long time.

Tonight I sang him a couple of songs, and he just passed right out! Usually it takes him a good amount of time to settle down after we read books. I'm going to try singing every night! (He has always loved rockabye baby and so does Olive).

Do you sing to your LO at bedtime? What songs do you sing?
