This is a guy raised in the Alps and was certified to teach there, so he's good. The first time I ever skied, I was probably 7, it was a semi private lesson, my brother &amp; myself, and the instructor left me on the mountain! Granted it was a small mountain, but getting down wasn't pretty. I remember doing the crab, you know when your belly is up &amp; your hands are behind you? I did that on my skis because I couldn't stay upright! Hahaha :D</p> <p>I can ski, not well, but I can. Yesterday was my first lesson, and aside from "trying them out" a couple times, it was basically the first time I've ever had skis on my feet in my life. Turns out we had to ski <i>down a hill</i> to get to the field where we would be practicing. Imagine everyone whooooshing down the hill. Now imagine me in the back silently screaming "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!" doing the most awkward snowplow ever down the hill.</p> <p>So, yes, I have..."skied". lol! </p>
