I try to mix up things LO loves - like berries, or cheese - with things she has not been as keen on. But lately she has been good about picking around or even shaking bits of food until the undesirables fall off!

The only way we can get vegetables in her is to give her the little pouches. She will still go for those on occasion.

Zucchini bread! Sorry, hubby is on his way home and I'm starving, so this thread is exciting to me.
Pureed cauliflower and/or broccoli soup!

Mushroom steaks? I don't get them often but I love those giant portabello mushrooms cooked in garlic and butter and stuff like a steak.

You can sneak all kinds of veggies into omelets!

I make pancakes with butternut squash, banana, or pumpkin. I also add butternut squash as a thickener to pasta sauce, in chili, and in soups--basically anywhere you'd use tomato paste, you can sub butternut squash.

My LO is good about eating broccoli and cauliflower, peas and green beans and sometimes brussell sprouts and sweet potatos, so I only "hide" stuff occasionally and not really to hide it but just to make a healthier version of something.

Cauliflower "bread"?

Spaghetti with spaghetti squash noodles instead? It's orange angel hair!

On Keto we have a spiralizer so we substitute zuchini for noodles in spaghetti, or I'll toss them with italian dressing and olives for instant "pasta" salad.

I sometimes add puréed veggies or spinach into pasta sauce. I worry LO isn't getting enough veggies as well.

My husband was getting rid of leftovers and mixed some pureed stew vegetables (carrots, celery, some potatoes) into some mashed potatoes. His picky sisters-in-law didn't even notice and asked for seconds!
Gravy, garlic, or cheese does that.

Oh, and Grandad always mixes tomatoes and onions in his meatloaf, and usually bell peppers too. We like to make a meatloaf and stuffed bell peppers at the same time. They are always covered in bacon and baked.

Baked beans are made with giant slices of onion in them covered in bacon. You could mince the onion though- they'd never know!

I think Jerry Seinfeld's wife (Jessica maybe?) has a book about this. Recipes that have hidden veggies like grated carrots in mac n cheese and whatnot.

My LO's are so picky when it comes to fruits and vegetables. My oldest will only eat broccoli, oranges, beans, cantaloupe, watermelon and bananas, and sometimes those are miss. If it's not a fruit in season I don't tend to buy it often so that limits us even more on options. I worry about my kids lack of vegetables in there diet and would love to sneak them in somehow. I've tried smoothies and that was a fail. I also tried muffins but the recipe wasn't great.

Do you sneak fruit or vegetables into your LO's meals? If so, please share your secret! Or do you just offer it and if they don't eat it, they don't eat it?
