It was definitely challenging but I'm so glad I did bc it's great to be able to enjoy an outdoor activity in the winter. DD was just over 1 when she skied for the first time w her dad. She loved it and did about 10 runs on the magic carpet, which is basically an AstroTurf conveyor belt. I married a total Ski Bum, so if I didn't join in, I'd miss out on a lot of weekend trips with him! He skis and I snowboard (though I'm not that good). I didn't start learning until my late 20s. I'll probably try to learn how to ski a little bit before LO starts so I can help guide. We will start our LO(s) when they are 2-3 years old. Both friends started on the bunny hill, doing wedge skiing and whatnot. Eventually you toggle them to your waist and they ski between your legs (but in front of you, if that makes sense). </p>
