On the way home, both of them started screaming right when we sat down on the plane. I was getting some serious looks from the people sitting next to me, and I just kept apologizing and apologizing. I understand how much people hate sitting next to babies on the plane. I took DD into a game store to buy a present for my husband and she screamed at the top of her lungs the whole time! She had been asleep in the car so I thought she would just fall right back asleep on my shoulder... but no such luck. Needless to say the clerk of a game store was not so understanding/patient. We actually went to the post office today too though, and she was actually good! No. Instead she screamed the entire time we were in the queue, and accellerated into full blown choking on the tears by the time we reached the front. Everyone was looking at me like I was Bad Mum of the Year, then DH phoned me so my cell was going off (three times in a row!!) and I was trying to write an address on my parcel and pay at the same time. Oh and some mad bat was banging on in my ear about how kids have evil looks in their eye?!?!?! I seriously failed at that outing. Bad mum.</p> <p>Do you ever struggle to cope on an outing? </p>
