I was putting my kids to bed at the same time when they shared a room but both are pretty light sleepers so I didn't want to risk waking up one or the other.

I used to stagger by putting the baby to sleep and then the older one would sneak in. But when my 3 year old dropped his nap he started needing to go to bed earlier. I try to get them to sleep at the same time, but the older one falls asleep within minutes and the younger one takes his time… :/ I can't leave before they are both asleep otherwise they wake each other up.

@autumnlove: no, C is a horrible sleeper. If she could have her way, she'd go to bed at 10! She's such a light sleeper!

Sometimes we stagger but it mostly depends on if/when the baby took her last nap. I actually find little difference on nights we stagger and nights bed time is the same time. I also like not bring liked into a rigid routine for now.

We put them down at the same time, but they are twins, so I think that makes a little difference. Sometimes one baby has an off night and doesn't want to go down at the same time, but the other baby has no problem sleeping through it.

My kids usually sleep around the same time in their own rooms but we are going to try room sharing in a few weeks...

LO 1 (3) is a really great sleeper and LO 2 (22 months) is less consistent and she fights bedtime a few times a week with crying and screaming.
