There was a little piece of paper added to the invite that said " no gifts please." Would you get a gift anyway?</p> <p>I've been to other parties that said similar things (like "your presence is your present"), but people have still given gifts. I have a stash of $1 Target items like coloring books, bathtub paints, etc. and I'm wondering if maybe this would be appropriate? Although if it says "no gifts" do we just "obey" and do no gifts? I don't want to be rude either way! </p>
