I always went in when sick - once even with a stomach bug. I just let them know about it.

With what you described, I would still go. I've gone to the doctor with colds before and just tell them right away that I'm a bit under the weather. Now, if I had a fever or vomiting or something more severe, I would definitely reschedule.

For a cold, with no fever, and that far into it (so less likely to be contagious) I would go. But I would be VERY careful about hand washing, staying away from people, touching as little as possible. It sucks to get a cold leading up to your due date so I would try not to give it to anyone else.

I've been sick with a cold for the past week (sore throat, no energy, overall "sick" feeling but no fever). I have a regular check up scheduled in the morning and was wondering if I should reschedule. I feel like by going I'm contaminating everyone!

What do you usually do? What does your doctor prefer you to do if you've ever asked?
