It lays pretty flat so it doesn't snag. I had to get it resized after I gave birth since my finger stayed big. My rings are soldered together. I don't see myself not wearing the set in the future; it was meant to be worn throughout my life so that's what I intend to do--hence the soldering. Also, we had the ring design changed a bit before we got married, so that the stone was sunken in to the setting--we thought this would be more practical for me to wear it. So far, no issues! </p>
