But she's a super sleepy baby and sleeps fine during the day unswaddled. If she couldn't sleep without it, I would definitely swaddle! When she gets a bit older and starts taking more defined naps (rather than now where she is just sort of asleep most of the time when she isn't eating), I'll probably swaddle for those. Eventually, when she was a little older and started getting crazy arms, I did start wrapping a muslin blanket around her arms to help her nap better. When she started daycare at 11 weeks, they wouldn't swaddle for naps, but I still did at home. DD is three weeks old and gets swaddled at night. During the day if I have her swaddled she seems to nap longer. But then I feel weird having her swaddled up all the time because she can literally sleep all day. Once I unswaddle her she will be awake. What do you do? Do you keep your newborn in a swaddle most of the day or just for night?
