I drank kefir throughout my pregnancy to ward off infections after a nasty bout of UTI and BV. I can't do kefir now because milk messes with LO through breast milk. We give him a baby probiotic sometimes as well as his cereal has it too. I'm a big believer in them and am convinced it made the rest of my pregnancy go smoothly.

I don't have any kids yet but I take align. It's the only one that works for me. If I stop taking it for a few days I get backed up. It takes about 1–2weeks for your system to regulate. Also I've heard using that and activia helps the LO.

I take one because I am on a nondairy diet..so I need te probiotics since I never eat cheese or yogurt.
I take one that is both a probiotic and a multivitamin. That way I have less to take! Plus it says on the bottle that taking a probiotic inside a multivitamin helps the probiotic absorb faster? Don't know if that's bs but that's what they claim.
It's called " nature made Triple probiotic"

LO is very gassy and a friend recommended that I start taking probiotics (I EBF so I'm assuming it gets into the breast milk?) I looked at several yesterday and am confused because there are so many brands that each provide a different amount of probiotics in each pill. What one do you take?
