We go to a lot of indoor, drop-in classes at a tot campus (music, art, cooking, science) nearby. Otherwise, we're outside. We rarely have extreme weather. </p> <p>Indoor play spaces don't bother me as far as germs go, but I just feel like the kids are always that much bigger, pushy and aggressive. Maybe it is 100% our luck and we've just been to duds. I don't want to be that parent halfway up the inflatable pirate ship breaking up a tussle, but I have always feel like I have to majorly helicopter. My DD1 loves Chuck-E-Cheese! We go about once every 2 months or when there is a birthday party invite. We drive further out to go to a cleaner one. He loves sliding over and over. There's a pretty nice paid play space in the neighboring town but we haven't been since last winter. He was a little too young last time and it was kinda crazy because of the awful winter. I'm sure she has gotten sick from there plenty of times but they do sanitize a lot! I actually feel like she gets way more germs from the library. </p> <p>We haven't been to any other inside play spaces. Cheese's, play areas at the mall, etc...but we almost never go to them. They kind of gross me out, and my kids can't do a lot of the things on their own yet, and with a million other kids it becomes more work than fun, and can overwhelm the girls. Maybe it will be better once they are a little older. </p>
