I try not to take my toddler to appointments because the wait time can get crazy.

I am at my 6 week PP appointment right now...with my 6 week old!

This is another thing I'm going to miss about my midwife's office. I would nurse DD while my midwife and I talked at the beginning of the appointment, then my midwife would take DD out of the room, hand her off to another midwife for cuddles, and do my part of the exam before bringing DD back into the room.

I don't, because I go from work to my appointments. I pick her up from daycare after the appointment. If I was a SAHM I would!

I usually can't avoid it. But crackers are my friend LOL. When I was pregnant, a few crackers were usually enough to keep my toddler seated in the stroller long enough to get examined.

I haven't brought LO to any appts, although my dentist, OB and dermatologist all said it would be fine. But I envision a screaming baby while I'm being examined/worked on and it doesn't seem like a good idea!

I will be. Though I try to schedule on a day DH is home to watch him, or after work so my brother can stay later.

but this month I'm going for a physical and J and I have joint appointments, so it'll be just him and me.

I was just think about this. I think I would take LO to them, except maybe not the more invasive ones if DH couldn't come too.

I do. I don't have anyone to watch LO so it's my only option. I wish I didn't have to. It's hard to talk with a doctor when my toddler is trying to tear the room apart.

Usually when I'm at the OB there are tons of babies and toddlers. My mom is able to watch LO so I leave her at home. It's just easier that way. I love seeing all the kiddos there though :)
