Did you know lots of headaches are caused by dehydration? Otherwise, the main things DH and I take are aspirin for headaches and pepto bismol for upset stomachs. We don't go anywhere without those two medications. I started reading about the long-term effects of these drugs on the body and decided to stop. Only being recently pregnant, I'm more nervous about certain medications. I'm asthmatic. I did a Dr. Google search to see if I could still take my asthma meds since I've noticed with the cold weather and someone growing inside me, that I'm more cautious. I took a shot of my Advair a few days ago and will again tomorrow to keep my asthma at bay. </p> <p>With the new cramps, I'm not taking any Tylenol, so I can gauge them. So, currently, I'm in avoidance mode. I had to be on medication that coated my throat so that I was able to eat &amp; drink until it healed &amp; while I was never a huge medicine taker before, now I don't take anything unless I'm explicitly told to by a doctor. When I got pregnant with my first, I stopped taking any medicine and all during breast feeding didn't take anything. Now I'm pregnant with #2 and have not taken anything.
