When I'm at home on summer break I can actually answer the phone. Once school starts again and I have groups every 30 minutes, I can't even text him back. Turning my back on my kiddos is a fatal tactical error. We text all day unless he's sleeping or working on the farm. It's how we keep each other informed of things going on because if we waited until dinner time to catch up, lots would be lost/not remembered since we have so many projects going on at once.
