So unless someone specifically said not to tell him, I would. When I told my sister I'm pregnant I knew she would tell her husband right away. I think it's a bad idea to force someone to keep a secret from their spouse. </p> <p>So yes, I'd be pissed if he knew someone was pregnant and didn't tell me. Granted, I'm quite hormonal, but when people tell me things and say not to tell anybody, I don't necessarily include DH in "anybody." He's my spouse and I tell him everything, and I know it won't go past him. Now, if somebody says, "You can't tell anybody, not even your DH," I would try to be a little more close-lipped. But I feel weird keeping secrets from my husband so I just always tell him everything I know. Especially because sometimes, those secrets are things that weigh on me, and I feel like he needs to know why I'm feeling down or overwhelmed (not that this thing he told me was a weighty secret, but still).</p> <p>It turned into kind of a funny thing, I was stomping around but was really only half serious, but it got me thinking about what other people feel. Is your spouse/SO automatically included in "anybody" when told not to tell anybody anything? Or are they separate, somebody you tell everything to? </p>
