We were using condoms so unlikely but still worrying. I didn’t get my period back the entire time I was nursing- so like 20 months. I just randomly had a feeling and took a test. Turns out I was 4 weeks (so 2 weeks past conception) and it was the earliest possible day that test could have worked. My symptoms started about a week later. It was crazy, but you never know! After my first, I was pregnant with #2 (intentionally! haha) at 14 months postpartum. </p> <p>After DD2, I have only taken one test and it was because my period was late. We want a larger gap between #2 and a potential #3, so we've been much more careful this time (still just using the very official pullout method, but we're more aware of timing and all that). I was on the minipill but I’d heard enough stories of people getting pregnant on it that I didn’t trust it 100%. BUT I had some pregnancy symptoms this weekend and I thought it was weird that I noticed, so I thought about taking a test but didn't have any on hand!
