Haha. In the middle of the night you really don't care about cuteness. So it really depends on how you see yourself using it. We have a high-backed custom upholstered glider and it's great, but I actually prefer using our 10 year old hand-me-down ugly Dutalier glider because it's SO much more comfortable. We went with the pottery ban kids wing back rocker (pretty much the only one we could find that was comfortable for him and attractive enough for me). We looove it. We have really comfortable leather recliner in our living room and I could always use that if I wanted to sit somewhere with a high back, but the glider would obviously be upstairs in the nursery.
