It grows back! I've had my hair from 2 inches below my shoulder to boy cut pixie. I don't have a small face/head.. I think it works! I have a few friends, who like others on this thread, tried a short cut in middle school and hated it and won't ever go back. I actually used to have long, thick dreadlocks but I cut them after I gave birth because they were super annoying and hot. I'm glad I cut them off before the hair loss started.
